Elizabeth Tuck Loring, founder of the Loring Law Office, LLC, has 13 years' experience advising individuals and organizations on all aspects of employment law in the public and private sector. Lisa’s areas of expertise include severance and employment contracts, non-compete agreements, FMLA leave, retaliation, wrongful termination, employment-at-will, sexual harassment, age, gender, and disability discrimination, unemployment compensation, protected workplace speech, workers’ compensation retaliation, and whistleblower protection. She is an experienced litigator and is well-versed in alternative methods of dispute resolution. Lisa has spoken and written on numerous topics, including mediation and arbitration, employment law basics, workplace harassment and bullying, employment law for general practitioners, client consultation, whistleblower protection, federal and state administrative practice, and employment at will.

Lisa attended Boston University and worked in business marketing prior to her legal career. She received her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was a member of the college’s Law Review. After law school, she practiced at Freking & Betz LLC until launching her own firm in 2013. Lisa is a Fellow of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers and was recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Super Lawyer in 2015 and 2016 and in 2007, 2009, 2012, and 2013 as a Rising Star. She serves as a Trustee for Tender Mercies, which provides housing and related services to homeless adults with mental or emotional disabilities, and she also chairs its Human Resources Committee.
