Andrew Berghausen is an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney currently assigned to the White Collar/Corruption In Government Unit.  He is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, Kenyon College, and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  He is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. 

He began his legal career in Sidney, Ohio with the firm of Kerrigan, Boller, Stevenson & Goettemoeller and served part time as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Shelby County, Ohio. 

He joined the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office in 1999 and has specialized in the prosecution of economic crimes for the past 10 years.  He works closely with local and federal law enforcement agencies as well as financial institutions and businesses to ensure the successful prosecution of cases involving financial crime.

He frequently talks about his cases and current legal issues related to the prosecution of financial crime to classes at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati, as well as to various law enforcement organizations.
